All girls contributed with either bat or ball and again showed that we have a strong bowling attack. Having won the toss we opted to bat first, we finished our 20 overs with a score of 279 having lost 4 wickets, in the U13 pairs league you lose 8 runs per wicket. A good score considering the ball didn't really move in the freshly cut grass. We set to the field in positive mood albeit a little chilly! The girls however put on another exemplary bowling display reducing the opposition to 212 off their 8 overs taking 8 wickets in total.

We are playing a 10 aside match, each pair will therefore bat for 4 overs each but it means we can get more people playing. I will bring squash and biscuits. £2 match fees. It is more than likely that we will be playing on the artificial as I'm not sure if the school wicket will be prepared, therefore no spikes.
