A very young inexperienced Crusaders side welcomed North Petherton to the CSCG. Bruce Crosland captaining the side in place of the injured Ponte lost the toss and the Crusaders were invited to bat. The experienced and clever Petherton bowlers proved far to much for the young batsmen as the innings finished 53 all out with only Matt Kingdom making double figures (18).
Petherton went straight back out for there innings and comfortably knocked off the runs in 11 overs for the loss of just 1 wicket, a super catch by debutant wicket keeper Joel MacFarlane off the bowling of Dorothy Batstone.......
Game over by 3.45 both teams retired back to the Deane for tea in the sunshine and watching the first team.
A heavy defeat but all the many U15's in the side battled the whole way through and were a credit to the club.
