Away to Bagborough

For the second game in the row the Deane Under 11 West team took on Bagborough at their very picturesque ground on a beautiful summers evening.
Bagborough won the toss and elected to bat.

Bagborough were restricted to a total of just 181 thanks to a great all round bowling performance.
Ella Ponte in her first league game bowled very well just going for 2 runs (a wide) in her 3 overs.
The Deane bowled 7 maiden overs and took 6 wickets with 3 run outs and 3 bowled.

In reply we batted well throughout and eased to a very respectable score of 196.
In achieving this score for the very first time we lost no wickets which the team should be very proud of.
