Got us off to a good steady start but unfortunately both got out in the last over, both looked solid until this point with Tom hitting a couple of nice boundaries and Archie pushing the singles.

Consolidated nicely, should have scored more runs though, some of the 1's would probably had been 4's with a better outfield. Brompton Ralph set their field deep so we should have picked up alot of 2's with better running. Jack finished not out with one very nice shot for 4.

Ben Seddon 1 run, out twice
Both tried hard, Ben West not giving his wicket away. Ben Seddon got a couple of good straight balls.

Both did well, it was pleasing that no silly shots were played and therefore no wickets lost, once again with the slow outfield we need to run hard as boundaries were hard to come by. Both helped to consolidate our position knowing we had some big hitting to come.

Very good batting from both, Ashton pushing the singles to get Isaac back on strike, Isaac struck the ball very well, and hopefully got us upto a match winning total.

There was some good bowling, but far too many runs given away in wides and no balls. This kept Brompton Ralph in the game, however it was nice that everyone got at least 2 overs.

Fielding, in general the ground fielding was ok, we did however put down 3 or 4 chances.

Well done to the youngsters who fielded in this game.
