Charlotte Webber, Taunton Deane Women’s 1st XI captain for the 2026 season, has been selected for Ireland’s Women’s Under-19 squad to tour Namibia this October.

Everyone at TDCC is delighted to congratulate Charlotte on her selection. Having led our Women’s 1st XI this season, she now has an exciting opportunity to represent Ireland overseas—a proud moment for Charlotte and the club.

Charlotte joins a 14-player squad for a six-match T20 series against the Capricorn Eagles, Namibia’s national women’s team. The tour forms part of Ireland’s preparations for the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in January 2027.

Captained by Alice Tector, the squad will depart Dublin on 21 October. Matches will take place at the Namibia Cricket Ground on 25, 26, 28 and 31 October, with doubleheaders on the final two match days.

The tour will give Charlotte valuable experience against senior international opposition as Ireland build towards the World Cup.

Charlotte’s selection is a fantastic moment for our women’s section and an inspiration for the women and girls playing at Taunton Deane. We look forward to following her progress and cheering her on throughout the tour.

Congratulations, Charlotte, and best of luck to you and the Ireland squad from everyone at TDCC!
