Skipper for the evening Jacob Searle won the toss and put WSCA into bat.

WSCA had a solid start against new ball pairing George Jarrett and on debut Alfie Sully getting to 214 at the end of their 4 over batting stint.

That was as good as it got for WSCA who despite some nice shots continued to lose some wickets against some fine Taunton Deane bowling.

WSCA finished on 201

George and Will Taylor opened the batting putting on 18 runs but losing 2 wickets did not help their cause

Next up Josh and Alfie. With Alfie on debut Josh took control and led the way with a whirlwind 30 runs including 6 fours of just 16 balls. Alfie scored 3 runs off the bat but was caught out once. Their partnership was worth 37 runs

Oliver and Will Cooper in next batted beautifully as a pairing other than a couple of dodgy calls for runs. They put on 32 runs.

Final pairing Jacob and Tom pushed us comfortably past the 300 mark with an accomplished 26 run partnership.

Deane finished on a season high 313 runs.
