7. Do you know your best figures?
My first competitive game of club cricket was in 1968 and I have kept a record of every match ( and continue to do so ) that I have played in recording runs scored, wickets taken, catches and venue and result of game.
Batting 126 v Leicester University 1976
Bowling 7- 44 v Sparkford ( at the county ground 1981 )

David Gower and Gareth Edwards

9. What other sports do you play / follow?
All sports but particularly rugby union.

Crete

Zulu

Belly pork with all the trimmings

The Treochy Male voice choir

Aston Martin

6. If you could attend any sporting event, what would it be?
A British Lions test against the All Blacks in Auckland

17. If you could turn back time, and visit a moment in history, where would you be?
The Llanelli victory over Zealand Newydd ( All Blacks ) in 1973. The home side won 9-3 and the town pubs were drunk dry

18. Three things we don't know about you?
i. My mothers maiden name was Jones so I am what you call a thorough bread Jones
ii. My first pet in marriage was a golden retriever named Gower after my cricket hero
iii. I am a regular blood donor and have donated almost 50 times.

Winston Churchill, Harrison Ford, Gerald Davies, David Gower and Katherine Jenkins

20. What does "The Deane" mean to you?
Having played for the club for 30 years it means good times, experiences and friends
